Synthesis of Dopants:

Doping, in general, tunes the conductivity in charge transport material by a stable and controllable increase in charge carrier densities or filling the charge carrier traps. The doping of an organic semiconductor involves a redox active species, which reduce or oxidize a semiconducting molecule and lead to n- or p-type doping, respectively. Our research focuses on the synthesis chemical redox agents, and study of their possible use as p- and n-type dopants.
